2017 was a big year for Falcon. After years of quietly sitting in our office and beavering away we decided it was time to venture out and meet our fellow industry professionals and the population at large. Since taking a stand at The London Book Fair and re-announcing ourselves we have become steadily busier and busier, to the point where it was clear our offices at Chart Hills could no longer accommodate us.
We needed a larger home and, after a bit of searching, we found the perfect place…
On 1 August we moved into our new offices in the centre of Tenterden. We still can’t quite believe our luck. We now have plenty of room to spread in a beautiful listed building right on the high street of this lovely Kent town, nicknamed the ‘Jewel of the Weald’. Our location is 20 minutes from Ashford, with its high speed line direct to London and Paris and road links to the rest of the country and continent via the M20.
Apart from its picturesque High Street Tenterden boasts some excellent eateries and a fully working steam railway. It is also, rather fittingly, where William Caxton is said to have been born and printed the very first English book in 1477. Our offices sit in the shadow of St Mildred's Church. Dating back to the 13th century the magnificent building dominates the town's skyline. If you are in Kent and would like a good day out Tenterden is a very popular choice and has a lot to offer. We would love to see you.
